Spice Diana has opened up about the humble beginnings of her music journey, crediting Dauda Kavuma, the manager of the Triplets Ghetto Kids, for jumpstarting her career.
Spice Diana recalled how her connection with the Ghetto Kids began shortly after her Senior 4 vacation.
At the time, she would travel from her home in Nankulabye to Makindye just to witness the dance group in action.
I heard about the Ghetto Kids around my Senior 4 vac and started coming from Nankulabye to Makindye to see them and how they do it. That’s how I met Dauda, their manager.
Although she never danced with the Ghetto Kids, Spice Diana says she was drawn to their energy and art.
Her admiration and regular presence eventually led to Dauda taking her to a music studio for the very first time, where she recorded her debut song.
