Operation shujja and mountain division commander major gen. Richard otto has come out giving an elaborate end of the year report about the operations against allied democratic forces ADF in DRC since the start of the Operation in November 2021.
According to Maj gen Richard otto , ADF has continued losing soldiers in the battle fields and areas that had been conquered by ADF, have been rescued by UPDF. And FARDC forces
For the Three years when the operation shujja is ongoing, they have extended their area of jurisdiction by weakening the ADF from sector one to sector four.Even though the ADF have ran away from the four sectors to distant places deep in DRC, it still remains a challenge for the joint forces to hunt for them wherever they could be.
Major Daniel okello – division medical officer indicated that they received 20 abductees two months back. They went under various medications and right now they are in good shape.He said by the time they received them 80% had injuries that required serious treatment.
