The independent EC has today concluded the nomination process for lcv and district councillors in Kasese district.
Mr. Gadi Mbayahi Bakwanamaha who was contesting as the chairman lcv Kasese on NUP ticket, has not been nominated due to lack of enough number if people to nominate him.
Surprisingly Mr. Mbayahi agreed the defeat telling his supporters to just go home saying they have failed to fulfil the nomination requirements.
Mr. Charlse Kabwemi, the registrar NUP Kasese was un happy by the aspirant Mbayahi for declaring himself that he has failed to get the signatures for the 50 people per sub county in the Whole district.
Hon. Mbaju Jackson Katika aspiring MP for Busongora South on NUP ticket also expressed his disartifaction.
Mr. Brian Basisa the chairman NUP Kasese said he is also disappointed by the electro commission kasese saying it manipulated their candidate Mr. Gadi Mbayahi by first calling him and negotiated before he declared his failure himself.
Meanwhile Mr. Eriphazi Muhindi Bokombi NRM, Mr. Abdul Sadi PFF, Mr. Sibendire Thembo Geofrey Bigogo were dully nominated as the aspirants lcv chairperson for Kasese district and the will compete in 2026 general elections.
