Over 350 delegates from 93 countries are in Kampala to attend the 19th NAM Summit at Speke Resort Munyonyo. The first item on the agenda was represented by Uganda’s permanent representative to UN ambassador Adonia Ayebare. Uganda’s minister for foreign affairs General Jeje Odong highlighted on the importance of collaboration among member states of the NAM in handling global challenges affecting the globe. NAM is a grouping of 120 countries that are not aligned to any major power Bloc. The Summit that runs until 20th is under the theme ” Developing Cooperation for shared Global Affluence”
