The hospital provides maternity,, surgical, laboratory and scan services that can’t be found anywhere around these mountains. They also get referral cases from surrounding districts of bundibugyo, Bunyangabu, kamwenge, kyenjojo and rubirizi. According to Dr wallen Tumuhairwe the in-charge of kilembe mines hospital, they receive over 800 outgoing patients, 60-80 maternity cases and surgical cases range from 40- 50 per month.
