Regarding the circulation of false scholarship advertisements online the Ministry of Health has issued a warning to the public.
These fraudulent ads falsely claim to offer scholarship opportunities under the Uganda health systems strengthening project, Ministry of Health.
They specifically target health workers employed in government health facilities and Private Not for Profit Institutions (PNFP) for the upcoming academic year 2024/25.
In a statement signed by David Katabarwa on behalf of the permanent secretary at the ministry, it has been clarified that these advertisements are completely fraudulent and should be disregarded without hesitation.
