In a significant step towards preparing for the upcoming elections, the Electoral Commission convened a meeting with chairpersons and councilors from the Nyamwamba Division to discuss crucial matters concerning the demarcation of new electoral areas. This meeting, held at the Nyamwamba Division hall, brought together key local officials, including Olivia Ninsiima, the Vice Chairperson of Nyamwamba Division, Bitibangi Adidas, the Town Clerk, and Muzora Jerald, the Division Speaker.
The central focus of the discussions was the strategic planning and implementation of new electoral boundaries, aiming to enhance fair representation and manage population changes effectively within the division.
