The UMSC Wednesday lost an appeal in which it hopped to stop auctioning of its several prime properties to pay off shs. 19b they owe a businessman.
The properties include land occupied by Gadafi National Mosque in old Kampala.
Justice Christopher Gashirabake who sat as a single judge on Wednesday morning in the court of appeal held that the balance of convenience is to allow the business man Jastus Kyabahwa to sell the eight prime properties to recover his money.
