The rate of tourists who visit the Flora and Founa in Kasese District is beleived to have increased according to the reports from UWA officials.
The warden of Rwenzori Mountains National park Mr. George Busingye revealed to our reporter that the trend of Tourists has increased and he further more said that Ugandans are picking interest in domestic Tourism.
He also called upon Ugandans to engage themselves in tourism as they tour beautiful scenes like Glaciers, the nature scenery, Birds and other wild animals, water bodies among others.
More so, Mr Busingye said the trend of tourists had decreased since Covid 19 hit the whole world.
Security to tourists is very tight thus calling upon people and tourists to continue visiting this area. “said Busingye”
