Residents of kasese have vowed to overwhelmingly support president museveni and NRM in the 2026 general election. This was during a Thanksgiving ceremony of Hon kabbyanga Godfrey state minister for ICT and national guidance and gen. Wilson mbadi state minister for trade at kaguta grounds in nyakatonzi sub county in kasese. While giving his speech, hon kabbyanga Godfrey thanked President museveni for having appointed him a minister and vowed to overwhelmingly support and mobilize for him come 2026 general election.
