His Majesty King Wisely Charles Mumbere Irimangoma, King of the OBR has hailed at President Yoweri Museveni for initiating skilling programs to empower the youth to both illiterates and literates.
This was said yesterday at Mubuku Industrial Hub in Mubuku kasese district.
King Mumbere explained that such skilling programs which he also supports since it helps Ugandans quite poverty zones.
He encouraged learners for a continuous learning in acquiring skills and calling others to join. The King requested the administration to put in place other instructors to teach learners how to make some traditional skills like making mats, mingling sticks etc.
The Mubuku Industrial Hub was initiated by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for empowering youths with skills labour that can fight poverty and unemployment with a lot of skill courses like welding, hair dressing and saloon management among others.
