The Kasese district NUP leadership has today afternoon hailed voters for the successful concluded General Elections with kept calm and exercising their right to vote.
This was said at their party offices in Kasese town by the party Chairperson, Brian Basisa on one-on-one with our reporter.
He outlined their party’s way forward to prioritize mobilization as they prepare for the next elections after the 5 years ahead.
He however hinted on the vote bribery and abductions during the exercise.
He urged all stakeholders to be guided by democracy and the rule of law.
He blamed the shutdown of internet that brought fear of the election exercise especially to the voter.
The opposition parties insert hope of winning the next coming election after restrengthening themselves as they call this 2026 election as a wave to them.
