
CHINT Electronics Uganda on Friday extended support to Nateete Regional Mosque as part of its spirit of giving and supporting Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.
The company donated lights and other electrical appliances to enhance the mosque’s capacity to accommodate night prayers throughout the Ramadhan season.
Speaking at the handover, Allan Zziwa, the marketing executive at CHINT Electronics Uganda, expressed company’s commitment to supporting communities it serves, especially during this holy month of Ramadan.
Zziwa further said, by providing these essential electrical appliances, we hope to create a more comfortable and well-lit environment for worshippers attending night prayers at Nateete Regional Mosque.
The donation included energy-saving LED lights, sockets, extension cords.
The company believes these items will significantly improve the lighting and overall ambience of the mosque, allowing for a more focused and prayerful experience for worshippers during the long nights of Ramadan.
Ddembe Muzafal, one of the leaders at the mosque, thanked CHINT Electronics Uganda for the support.
He also re-echoed that Muslims were not able to perform night prayers because they feared the darkness but with this support their Ramadhan has been brightened.
