The NRM party family in Kasese municipality has announced a halt to their campaign rallies to help prepare for the Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Birthday Run and the 59th Coronation, scheduled for Friday, 14th November 2025, at Nyakasanga Playground and Rwenzori Square in Kasese town.
This was revealed yesterday at their rallies in Katadoba T/C, Nyakabingo II ward, by the Kasese Municipality NRM flag-bearer, Hon. Ferigo Kambale.
He called on everyone to participate in the event to help collect funds to boost the OBR.
However, he appealed to his voters to vote for him, citing that the area is facing some challenges that he aims to address soon.
Other aspiring candidates, including flag-bearers for councilorship to the central division, municipality, and district, called for the NRM vote if they wish to see development in their areas.
The NRM campaign rallies at Katadoba T/C attracted many dignitaries, including religious leaders, politicians, and Madaraka Douglas, among others, who all called for a peaceful election.
