As it was directed by the Electoral Commission of Uganda that open air campaigns for Mps shall start on 10th November, 2025, The Kasese Municipality Parliamentary seat candidates are moving forward with this activity.
Among them there is Hon. Kambale Ferigo (NRM) who started his move yesteday at Nyakasanga iii and today at Katadoba trading center, Hon. Muthoma Robert (NUP) who started on Monday, Hon. Kithulha Francis (IND) who is in his day two, Hon. Centenary Robert (FDC) hasnt started, and Hon. Kidi MAfunguru (PFF) to start on 16th November.
Today, on Hon. Kambale Ferigo Rally, a thousands of people gathered at KAtadoba trading center including the Docesean Dean for St. Pauls Cathedral Rev. Ziwa Robert, Hon. Madaraka Yofesi, the Kasese municipality NRM chairperson Mr. MUlondi Selvano, The Central division Chairperson Flag bearer (NRM) The Kasese Municipality Mayor Flag bearer (NRM) and many others all gathered at the rally center.

In his speech, Hon. MAdaraka Yofesi who just lost the Flag to Hon. Kambale Ferigo at the same time the area Member of the 11th Parliament, he stated that the eyes of Kasese municipality should all be on Kambale Ferigo if we only want to see our town in a good condition.
“The issues that people wnated to bring on board during the past NRM primary elections shouldn’t be seen this time and all people should stand and vote KAmbale Ferigo” Madaraka added.
He said he is not going to stop his projects and plans like the water project that is now at Besenia Katadoba and the he called upon Kambale Ferigo to also help him in achieving this.

In his speech, the flag bearer for the Kasese municipality meber of parliament (NRM) Hon. Kambale Ferigo outlined what he has sofa done in the past five years and that he has fullfiled all that he promised and these include
Rwenzori tv, Skilling centers, Rukoki hospital, infrastructure development among others.
He moreso outlined what he is planning to do if he is elected as the Member of parliament for the second term Including
Bringing a Computed Tomography (CT SCAN), bringng more money from the USMID program (over 70 billion), constructing the Kasese Air Field, Reopening the Kilembe Mines, Putting Rwenzori Tv on satelight (Star Times) among others.
In this case therefore he called upon the people of Kasese Municipality to run a peaciful political season as they think about voting him for the second term.
The elections shall be held on 15 January 2026 according to the Chaiperson Electoral Commission – Justice Simon Byabakama.
