He is omuyiira from the Bakyira clan.
He was born and raised in Nyakasanga in 1989 to the family of late hajji Amisi Maate and late Mbabazi Masturah of kengeduke, Bumate, in Bundibugyo Town council in Bundibugyo district.
He began his primary education at Airstrip primary school and later on joined Bundibugyo Muslim primary school where he completed in 2003.
He joined Airstrip secondary school for his senior one. He didn’t last long there, he joined Good hope Academy where he sat for UCE in 2007.He joined Bilal Islamic secondary school- Bwaise in 2008 and in 2009 he completed his UACE.
By God’s grace, he attained a scholarship from international University of Africa in Khartoum, Sudan where he graduated with a first class degree in mass communication in 2015.
He worked with Africa mineretes website and Nile newsletter magazine for five years as a writer, and editor. He also worked with the voice of Africa radio in Khartoum, Sudan as a reporter and an editor.
Currently, he is working with Rwenzori TV as news manager.
He is skilled in script writing, editing, audio and video editing, reporting and presentation.
He likes reading, writing, playing volleyball and in his free time he listens to music.
He is a Godly person and likes socializing with people and wishes them well.
He is hard working and passionate about what he does.
